Understanding the Market and Stakeholders

Insights from Interviews
Upon interviewing Chef Adam and Kitchen Manager Chris, we gathered some insights that led towards concept generation. We also conducted a series of shorter interviews with small restaurants to get a clearer picture of the situation and challenges.

Drawing of Kitchen we visited
Based on the photograph of the kitchen. The yellow areas are the most accident-prone, these accidents mainly being cuts and burns.

Our Design
A first aid kit that allowed for people to see their bruises (mirror), use with one hand and mainly could be used with ease. No more wasting time searching for important and immediate first aid from a messy box. This has a dispensing mechanism and clearly labeled and organized interior which is intuitive to use and efficient.

How it works
Open it with your elbow/hand/finger ,band-aid readily available on the door flap, instructions are visible upon opening the kit, just pull out first aid from dispenser. Secondary medicines lie behind the instruction flap. These are kept out of immediate view so as to reduce confusion during emergency situations.
